ABOUT US
Harris Corporation

Harris Corporation conducts advanced research studies, develops prototypes, provides technical services, and produces and supports state-of-the-art, highly reliable communications and information systems that solve the mission-critical communications challenges of its military and government customers, as well as provides the technology base for the company's diverse commercial businesses.

What We Do

Harris serves the U.S. Government in a variety of industries. Our systems range from the design, development, and integration of full information infrastructures and communications systems to the production of discrete products within information and communications architectures. The company specializes in efficient use of COTS intensive approaches to solving these types of systems-level challenges. Although many of our customers come to us with system blueprints in hand, we are often called upon to help customers evaluate a problem, define a conceptual solution, and develop specification documentation from which the solution can be built. We do this because we take pride in consistently achieving our goal of exceeding customer requirements or expectations.

Our systems' users are generally experts in their fields. As image analysts, meteorologists, soldiers, pilots, astronauts, air traffic controllers, radiologists, and more, they use our systems primarily to help them communicate better and more efficiently, as well as to make mission- or schedule-critical decisions.
