Harris Corporation introduces GeoSTAR™ and GeoDART™, two
new web-based products that bring flexibility and efficiency to Geospatial Information
System Users. Geospatial Search Tracking and Retrieval (GeoSTAR) and Geospatial
Data Access Retrieval Translator (GeoDART) provide the user powerful tools to effect
efficient search, discovery and delivery of geospatial data sets. GeoSTAR provides
the user a simple and easy to use interface to initiate queries and structure the
delivery of discovered products. Since it employs standard WSDL interfaces it can
be used with any flavor of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based Geospatial
Information System (GIS). GeoDART executes queries generated directly by a user
interface or some other external process consumer. It performs discovery agent management,
data translation, data services to execute those queries across multiple DCPs in
parallel. Both GeoDART and GeoSTAR have their pedigree in Government Geospatial
Information Systems that have served thousands of clients.
