The Software Bus provides the distributed communication infrastructure that interconnects all resources and processes. Facilities included are the System Administration facility and the Communication Services facility.

Also included are facilities for Symbol Processing, Command Processing, Language Processing, Telemetry Processing, Data Distribution, Error / Event Handling, Memory Processing, and Recording and Logging.

Interfaces to the system are through text displays or through GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces).
