The Harris Weather Data Services (HWDS) provides the widest variety of weather data services available from one source. These data services include:
- National Weather Service data, including text, gridded forecast, and Red Book graphic data
- GOES-East and GOES-West, the U.S. geostationary weather satellites, both low- and high-resolution
- National real-time lightning data
- NEXRAD and high-resolution radar mosaics from the NIDS
- Foreign geostationary weather satellites, GMS and
- Custom solutions providing high-resolution polar orbiter weather satellite data including DMSP when its high-resolution data is available
Harris is currently the only commercial provider of high-resolution GOES-East and GOES-West data. The following data products are plain text and coded messages containing both observations and forecasts. Data Products Alphanumeric Products

Gridded Products These data products contain analyses and forecasts derived from the atmospheric models of the NWS and international agencies. Fields include: - Surface pressure, wind heights, temperatures, moisture, tropopause height, maximum winds and maximum wind pressure level.
- Forecast periods out to 60 hours. Extended range forecasts out to 168 hours (7 days).

Red Book Graphics Products This data service disseminates approximately 350 charts mainly for the use of the meteorologist as an aid to formulating weather forecasts. This includes: - Model guidance charts

National Weather Satellite Service - GOES-East and GOES-West
- High resolution and low resolution sectors are available for all GOES imagery channels, visible, infrared, and water vapor. Full navigation information included in each image to provide accurate earth location registration. Useful for locating and tracking thunderstorms, frontal movement hurricanes and other storms in the western Atlantic and eastern Pacific.

Subscribers may choose to receive the Harris Weather Data Services (HWDS) by either a Ku-band satellite antenna or a T1 digital circuit. Satellite antenna sizes will vary, depending on location. Full installation services are available.
