InReality™ is a viewer application used to display and navigate RealSite™ 3-D models of an urban area. Harris Corporation, a global leader in next level computer visualization solutions, produces 3-D urban models as part of the RealSite product line. Once possible only on mainframe supercomputers, the InReality application represents a revolutionary advance in computer visualization performance. Using sophisticated resource management algorithms, InReality allows you to view the 3-D models on a variety of PC platforms from laptops to high-end desktops. InReality is designed to easily navigate the virtual scene and provides powerful tools that permit the 3-D models to be used in a variety of fields:

InReality provides the user navigation and cinemagraphic control, analytical task capabilities, and the ability to view underlying models in either wireframe or untextured modes. From a first person or north-up cartographic perspective, users can view the models within a virtual environment with the push of a button. Continuously updated geoposition and heading information displayed in an easy to understand graphical interface. Using a combination of keyboard and mouse, a new user will quickly master navigation and the creation of effective visual flights through a model. Additionally, InReality provides the ability to easily move throughout the virtual environment to any location in the scene and to record and playback camera flight paths. Models can be ordered from an existing library, or can be custom built to a variety of specifications (from large-scale terrain models, to high-resolution cityscapes). Our revolutionary process builds very precise (geospatially accurate up to 1 m) and photo realistic models quickly and efficiently.
