Harris Corporation is supporting a Lockheed Martin prime team currently executing Phase A of the Space Radar (SR) program, a critical national defense program. SR is being designed to meet the government’s need for near real-time Ground Moving Target Indication (GMTI), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) information. The SR program is working toward a KDP B milestone down select decision in 2009, leading to an initial operational capability in 2015. Harris is providing both payload and bus technology developments in support of the prime team.
