At Harris, Information Assurance and Network Security Engineering is practiced as a systems engineering discipline, by an interdisciplinary engineering staff with expertise in: Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Network Protocols, Key Management, Risk Assessment, Certification and Accreditation (all services), Firewalls, Database Management Systems, Authentication Technologies, and Operations and Maintenance. Our ability to perform both technology based activities and systems integration activities makes us uniquely qualified in information assurance/security. Harris has a defined, standard security engineering process, which we apply in conjunction with our standard software and systems engineering processes. This standard methodology results in cohesive system security architecture, from policy to operations and maintenance.
